Gaelic Awareness Course
With the Gaelic Language Act giving new responsibilities to public bodies to promote the language, there is a growing need for staff to appreciate the benefits of using Gaelic.
Clì provides a one-day “Gaelic Awareness” course, in English, for groups and individuals who want to raise their consciousness of the language and its regeneration.
The course will show you why Gaelic is so important to Scotland and how to:
- pronounce the Gaelic greeting “Ciamar a tha thu?”
- read and understand Gaelic place-names
- tell a tourist where Gaelic came from
