Terms of Accommodation Rental

Bookings are accepted from Sunday to Sunday in respect of Red Lodge and from Saturday to Saturday for Laggan Cottage and Ghillie Brae.

The tenancy will be from 3.30pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

The tenant will be obliged to pay for all broken or missing contents, including fixtures or fittings.

The tenant will not sub-let the property and will take every reasonable precaution to prevent damage to the structure for which he will be responsible, fair wear and tear excepted.

The tenant is expected to leave the accommodation as he would wish to find it.

The Estate reserves the right to charge for extra cleaning if necessary.

The number in the party may not exceed the number of beds provided in the property booked.

25% deposit of total rent is payable on booking, the balance due six weeks prior to arrival.

We are happy to receive payment by Bank Transfers from overseas visitors.

The balance of the rent is due irrespective of cancellation unless the Estate is successful in re-letting, when you will be refunded your deposit less £50 re-letting charge.

The tenant will pay for all electricity in addition to the rent charged for the property.

Please pay your electricity bill before you leave.

Our staff will be on hand to read the meter & agree the amount payable.

If, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, the Estate is unable to provide the tenant with the cottage or a suitable alternative the Estate will refund the deposit in full, but the tenant shall have no further claim on the Estate.

Rents for cottages include all linen.
